The Tigers competed against St. Mike’s at home yesterday to a solid crowd of fans with parking spilling out onto Salazar Road. Always much anticipated, the rivalry between these two teams creates a high energy atmosphere for fans and teams alike. Lucky #7s scored the goals for both teams, with Taos’ Aidan Cserhat finishing two for the Tigers (4-1), while Luke Wink-Moran scored for the Horsemen (1-2-1). Taos will see Bloomfield at home on Saturday, September 6, 2:00pm.
The boys JV teams also competed, and Taos’ first game was a loss of 5-2 to the young Horsemen. The game was well matched, and well played, but Taos couldn’t finish their chances. Both JV and Varsity will compete away on Monday, September 8 at Santa Fe Prep.
The Lady Tigers (4-0) compete today against Santa Fe Indian School. More details at taossoccer.com
